Course Description: This course is designed to provide commercial vendors who engage in government contracting with fundamental knowledge and skills to interpret, propose to, communicate and successfully perform on a government contract. Through a series of on-line training modules provided by Defense Acquisition University, the student should achieve the Basic Understanding (Level 1) of the fundamentals of Federal contracting, such as Federal Acquisition Regulations, Quality, Ethics, Marketing, Contract Types, Source Selection Procedures, and more. To participate in this program, you must register through a participating Procurement Technical Assistance Center.
Course Objective: For Level 1, to complete all the required courses, take a comprehensive examination, and be awarded a certificate of completion that is recognized by Federal contracting personnel as certification of your understanding of contract processes and your heightened ability to enter into and successfully perform in a government contract.

From there, hover over “Continuous Learning” and click on “Login-Continuous Learning Modules” and proceed through the registration process.
