How to Update Your Business Profile

• Select update a business profile from the Vendor Information Page web site. www.vip.vetbiz.gov
• Type in the email address and password associated with your profile.
• Update all information and click the update button at the bottom of page.

If You Have Forgotten Your Account Information

• Select search for a business from the Vendor Information Page web site. www.vip.vetbiz.gov
• Type in the first six characters of your business name and click search (if your business name is Allen Construction LLC, you would need to type Allen C include the space)
• Click on the magnifying glass icon on the left of your business name, this will allow you to see what email address is associated with your profile. If the email address has not changed you can automatically get new password sent to that address by typing it into the update a business profile screen and selecting forgot password from the right hand side of screen. If the email address has changed or the person who created the account is no longer with your company you will need to contact us at 866-584-2344. Press the number seven for assistance with the Vendor Information Page.

If You Have Problems Registering or Updating Your Business

• The most common error with updating or registering a business is that there is a conflict with the DUNS number. If you receive a message"There is an error with the DUNS field. The DUNS number below has already been registered to another business. This number must be unique." It simply means your business profile has been created by someone already and you simply need to update your profile instead of re-registering. Follow the instructions above for forgotten account information to update your profile.
• If you receive the message above while updating your profile this means you have one or more profiles in the database and a VIP administrator will need to assist you to correct the problem. Please call 866-584-2344 and press the number seven for VIP assistance.
