Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking—Proposed Changes to 38 CFR 74. OSDBU is currently reviewing its regulations governing the VA Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Verification Program. Simplified renewal is a streamlined process for businesses who have been previously verified with a full document examination whose two year eligibility period is expiring. In this program, if there have been no changes to the business since the last time the business documents were examined, the company may certify that no changes have taken place. Renewal for these companies typically takes 7 business days.
